Information update: Children’s Swimming lessons Session changeover plan
Group 1 enter changing village
Ø Allocated cubicles in which you leave all belongings. NB: Please see valuables in Car/at home
Ø No locker use
Ø Pre swim rinse shower on entry
Ø 40 minute lesson commences
Post swim rinse shower/changing
Ø Min 40 – Class 1 closest to showers exit pool first accompanied by teacher to ensure a 1 minute rinse only. After 1 minute the teacher calls next group and their teacher accompanies them and so on until all children have exited the pool.
Ø Min 41 – Class 2 shower
Ø Min 42 – Class 3 shower
Ø Min 43 – Class 4 shower
Ø Min 44 – Class 5 shower
Min 41 – 54 Now there is between 10 minutes and a maximum of 14 minutes for children to get changed and exit the changing village.
Min 50 – Group 2 are now waiting in the corridor outside the changing village.
Changing Village sanitation/ Hygiene cleaning
During the children’s changing time, the teachers are preparing the hygiene mist sprayer, cleaning the showers and pool bank, clearing rubbish etc. All areas including toilets are to be checked and ready for next group.
As min 54 approaches staff are taking up designated positions for changeover.
1 Staff member on pool corridor doors to control exit/entry
1 Staff member on hygiene mist sprayer
1 Staff member wiping after sprayer and clearing rubbish
1 staff member to remain on pool bank to ensure no swimmers re-enter pool.
Min 54- Hygiene Spray misting completed
Ø Group 2 enter changing village, 5 mins before class start time
Ø Min 55 – 60 Group 2 enters changing village to designated cubicles and makes way to pool bank promptly. Swimmers should be arriving ready and be on pool bank in time for class start.
Please be assured we have trained and educated our staff team in the above procedures and completed some trial sessions in advance.
